Position Summary:
The Manager, Campaign Digital Communications (Temporary) reports to the Senior Director, Elected Leadership. This role will focus on creating digital assets and plans for LEE and LEE candidates and coordinating with candidates to execute digital strategies. The Manager will support the development and delivery of direct digital campaign services for a subset of LEE candidates, including customized digital plans and paid media buys for smaller, lower-budget races. They will also track performance and candidate usage data to inform future scaling of digital campaign supports.
The Manager, Campaign Digital Communications (Temporary) is a full-time, temporary position for up to 40 hours per week through the end of July 2026.

Responsibilities:
Digital Campaign Support (50%)
Support Directors of Candidate Development in the creation of high quality digital campaign plans including organic and paid elements
Support digital and communications needs including working with LEE logo, website, and social media templates
Create compelling content to support LEE members’ campaign fundraising across social media and digital platforms
Customize digital campaign plans for a subset of LEE candidates identified by the campaign strategy team
Execute digital plans and digital buys in coordination with LEE campaigns for lower budget and smaller races
Candidate Templates and Resources (30%)
Create social media templates that can be used by LEE candidates to build their own social media content, scaling LEE’s work to effectively support more members
Create guides, trainings, and other tools that develop LEE candidates’ digital campaign knowledge and skills
Recommend and implement automation tools (including AI and other software) to streamline LEE’s digital support services
Data Management (10%)
Track and manage data around candidates’ usage of LEE resources, social media, and ad buys
Provide digital campaign metrics, performance data, and status reports to campaigns and LEE’s Elected Leadership team
Special Projects (10%)
Engage in team-level, org-wide, or cross-team special projects as assigned by manager or designee
Provide short-term coverage of other Manager-level duties during a leave, vacancy, or PTO
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate years of work experience (If you do not hold a Bachelor’s degree an additional 4 years of relevant experience is required. If you hold an Associate’s degree an additional 2 years of relevant experience is required.)
3+ years of professional experience, including at least 2+ years of relevant experience in digital ad placement or campaign experience of at least one full cycle
Thorough attention to detail in a fast-moving virtual environment
Experience with data systems, tracking and analyzing metrics efficiently and effectively
Team-oriented, flexible professional with a collaborative mindset
Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics
Experience purchasing ads on Meta and YouTube
Demonstrated proficiency with Canva for design work and brand asset creation
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
Strong, demonstrated commitment to LEE’s mission, core values, and theory of change
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting small business, consulting, or entrepreneurship-oriented clients or projects
Experience managing or purchasing digital ads for political campaigns or advocacy efforts
Experience editing and creating social media video content
Experience with Squarespace and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Strong Excel or Google Sheets experience or similar for building tracking documents and templates
Demonstrated success supporting several projects simultaneously with internal and external stakeholders
Physical Requirements & Work Demands:
This position is primarily a sedentary role working with colleagues based around the country using remote technologies.
The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to liaise with staff or access office equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The position level for this role is Manager 1 and the corresponding hourly pay range for this position is $31.49-$46.96. Pay is competitive and based upon relevant experience and cost of labor for your location.
